So not all my posts have to be mom related. This girl likes to have some fun too. And we live in wine country so what better way to have fun then to visit some wineries.
Now there are so many great wineries out here. But these are just a few of my current faves. This could really be a series because I have so many favorites out here. If we ever move from wine country I don’t know what I’ll do about being able to visit so many great places.
Cliff lede – The first time I ever got to visit this winery I was pregnant so did not get to enjoy their tastings, but I vowed that once I had given birth I would make sure I went back because I heard such great things about their wine. So shortly after giving birth, one of my best friends came out for a visit and because I knew I was able to drink again I just knew one of our stops had to be here. They have some really amazing wines and their tasting room isn’t outrageously huge but it’s so pretty! Their tastings start at $35 dollars and to me that is super great for Napa valley. You can visit their site Here
Artesa- This winery will always hold a special place in my heart because they have a tiny bubbles sparkling wine that we served at our wedding, and drank when we got engaged, and for our first anniversary. So it really is truly a special winery. The views from this place are just as amazing as the wine they serve. The tastings begin at $45 dollars and there are a few variations of tastings you can do. You can visit the website Here
Coppola- This winery is one we bring almost all our friends and family to when they come to visit. They have some great wine, and some wonderful memorabilia from the great director Francis Ford Coppola. My favorite from here is a Voigner named “Catie’s Corner”. One other great thing about this winery is that they have a non-alcoholic option, which was wonderful for me when we had visitors while I was pregnant, I didn’t have to feel so left out. They have a regular and reserve tasting as well as they have a pool and a restaurant on site. You can visit the website Here
Stay tuned because I have some friends visiting next month and I know we will have some new wineries to try and new favorites to be had.
